OL2000: Memory Read Error Mesage and Outlook Quits

SYMPTOMS

After you use Outlook for approximately five minutes, you may receive the following error message:
The instruction at "0x3F9994F4" referenced memory at "0x0000001B". The Memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the application. Click CANCEL to debug the application.

CAUSE

This issue may be caused by the Net Folders Outlook add-in.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, disable the Net Folders add-in:
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
  3. Click Advanced Options, and then click Add-in Manager.
  4. Click to clear the Net Folders check box.
  5. Click OK three times.
  6. Quit Outlook.
  7. Start Outlook.
