OL2002: Runtime Error When You Add a Shortcut to Your Windows NT 4.0-Based Computer

SYMPTOMS

When you try to programmatically add a file location as a shortcut to an Outlook 2002 shortcut bar, you may receive the following error message:

Run time Error: -2147024882 (8007000e)
Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again.

This symptom occurs if you run Outlook 2002 on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer.

After the hotfix is installed, the English version of this fix will have the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
