SYMPTOMSWhen you try to capture video from your analog video camera
or VCR and you use your digital video (DV) camera as a pass-through device, the
video is not recorded in the Video Capture Wizard of Microsoft Windows Movie
Maker 2. CAUSEThis problem occurs because Movie Maker 2 does not support
the use of a DV camera as a pass-through device when capturing
video. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows XP. Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes Windows Movie Maker 2.1. Windows Movie Maker 2.1 supports DV pass-through.
