Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you initially set up your computer to work offline in
Outlook, the offline address book is downloaded to your computer. CAUSEBy default, this behavior occurs on the initial
configuration for offline use because the Download offline address
book option is selected. Note Although this is the standard behavior, the fix described in this article makes it possible for you to change the Download offline address book option before you initially set up your computer for offline use in Outlook. RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
