The Japanese Office XP Input Method Editor Update: KB816218 fixes
the following issues that were previously not documented in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base.Cannot Input Japanese Characters When you are logged on to a Windows Terminal Server Client without administrator rights, you cannot input Japanese characters in the IME for Japanese. Personal Information Stored in Custom Dictionary Personal information, such as your telephone number, that you type in the IME is saved in your custom dictionary. Information in the custom dictionary can be exploited by a malicious user. This update helps prevent personal information from being saved in your custom dictionary. Interactive User Can Change Administrators IME Registry Entries This update helps to prevent an interactive user from changing or deleting the Administrators IME entries in the system hive.
