Process Explorer from SysInternals Does Not Start

When you try to start Process Explorer from Sysinternals, you receive the following message:
Make sure that you are an administrator and that a copy of Process Explorer is not already running.
Error installing HandleEx driver: A required privilege is not held by the client.

Note This issue may occur even if you are logged on as a member of local administrators group.


This issue occurs because the version of process explorer that you are running is not compatible with Windows Server 2003.
