FIX: You may receive an error message after you run an MDX query that contains a user-defined function

SYMPTOMS

You have an MDX query that has a user-defined function that returns a string result. If you run this query in Analysis Services 64-bit or after you install Analysis Services Service Pack 3 (SP3) on a 32-bit system, you may occasionally receive one or more of the following error messages:

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': An unexpected error has occurred.

The instruction at "0x77a63721" referenced memory at "0x0008e89f".
The memory could not be "read".

Unable to open cellset Out of Memory

Note The "referenced memory address" in the error message may vary.

Service pack information
