This problem was first corrected in Office XP
Service Pack 3. MORE INFORMATIONIf you do not see the prompt for Open it or
Save it to Disk for certain file types after you apply this
hotfix, start Microsoft Windows Explorer and look under Folder
Options for the affected file name extension type (such as .log or
.xls). Select the affected file type, and then click Edit. In
Windows Explorer make sure that the Confirm open after
download check box is selected for that file type.
