Article ID: 817464 - Last Review: November 2, 2007 - Revision: 4.3 FIX: Using Sp_executesql in Merge Agent Operations
BUG #: 363708 (SHILOH_BUGS) On This PageSYMPTOMSEarly implementations of the Merge Agent did not use the sp_executesql system stored procedure during the execution of statements that
could be repeatedly run each time the Merge Agent ran. To improve the chances
of re-using an existing plan (and to optimize Merge Agent execution), sp_executesql is implemented for statements that typically run each time the
Merge Agent runs. This fix implements sp_executesql in stored procedures that are run by the Merge Agent. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
