Article ID: 817607 - Last Review: February 21, 2007 - Revision: 3.8 Unexpected Increases in Memory Usage When You Use IKnowledgeDocument::Fields::get_Count
On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you create and run a custom program in SharePoint
Portal Server that contains a call to get_Count on the Fields collection of an IKnowledgeDocument, memory usage may increase steadily on the server. This may

Data Objects (ADO), and the code that contains IKnowledgeDocument::Fields::get_Count occurs in a loop. RESOLUTIONThis problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now
contained in a service pack. If you have installed SharePoint Portal Server
2001 Service Pack 3 or a later service pack, you do not have to apply the
hotfix. Service pack informationThis problem was first corrected in SharePoint Portal Server 2001 Service Pack 3.To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001.
