PRJ2002: Actual Hours and Total Hours Are Blank in Timesheet View

SYMPTOMS

When you, as a project manager, receive an update from a resource for actual hours and total hours worked that were entered in Microsoft Project Web Access (PWA), the Actual Hours and Total Hours boxes are blank in the Timesheet view.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you scroll away from the timesheet time period that contains the actual hours and total hours, and then you scroll back to that timesheet time period.

For example, this problem may occur when you view the timesheet for the current time period (current two weeks), scroll to view the previous time period (previous two weeks), and then scroll back to view the current time period (current two weeks).

RESOLUTION

Service Pack Information

This problem is corrected in Project Server 2002 Service Pack 1.

This fix is a post-Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2) fix. To install the fix, you must have Office XP SP-2 installed. For additional information about Office XP SP-2, click the following article number to see the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem was first corrected in Project Server 2002 Service Pack 1.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click Refresh on the View menu in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
