You receive an "Netscape is unable to find the file or directory" error message when you try to add a SharePoint Team Services folder to Outlook 2003

SYMPTOMS

In Netscape Navigator, when you click a hyperlink to add a Microsoft SharePoint Team Services folder to Microsoft Outlook, you expect to receive an Outlook message similar to the following:

A request has been received to add the following SharePoint Team Services folder to Outlook:
STS Folder (http://www.microsoft.com/fliename.exe)

Would you like to add it?

Instead, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Netscape is unable to find the file or directory
named /pathname/stssync://sts.

Check the name and try again.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you are using Netscape version 4.76 or earlier.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, install the most recent version of Netscape.
