Modem Device Entries in the Properties of a Dial-up Connection Are Changed

SYMPTOMS

If you configure a dial-up connection that uses more than one modem, the connection may not continue to use all the modems correctly after you restart your computer. The modem settings in the connection properties may have changed. For example:

The order that the devices are listed in has changed.
Non-existent devices are listed.
Devices that were selected are no longer selected.

Hotfix Information
