SYMPTOMS

When you try to copy and paste text that is contained in a hyperlink on a Web page in OneNote 2003, the text does not appear as a hyperlink.

For example, if you copy hyperlink text that says "Click Here" (without quotation marks) from a Web site, and then paste the hyperlink text in OneNote 2003, "Click Here" appears in plain text.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because OneNote 2003 does not support hyperlinks that are attached to text or graphics.

For example, instead of typing "Click here for more information" (without quotation marks) in OneNote 2003, type "Click here (www.msn.com) for more information" (without quotation marks).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
