On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you run a Data Transformation Services (DTS) package
with an FTP task to transfer a file, the DTS package displays the success
message, even when the source file is not available at the Internet
site. This behavior only occurs when the source is an Internet site. It does not occur when the source is a directory. WORKAROUNDBefore you run the DTS package, verify that the source file
that you want to transfer from the Internet FTP site is
available. STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
