SYMPTOMSWhen you use client-side code (the Document.Cookie property)
to
write cookies, and then use the same method to retrieve the cookies, you may
receive an empty string or the following error message: ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER CAUSEThis problem may occur if the total size of the cookies that
are stored in your domain is 4,096 bytes or greater. This is a limitation in
the current version of Mshtml.dll. STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
