When you open or print a Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 or Microsoft Office Publisher 2003 publication, text in WordArt objects may appear to use a different font or print in a different font than the font that appears on your customer-provided laser proof. This problem can occur even if you do not receive a missing font warning when you open the publication.
This problem may occur if the WordArt objects were created by using a font that is not available on your computer.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
WordArt is part of the graphics and drawing engine used by Publisher 2007 and by Publisher 2003. You can use WordArt to create type with special effects. Publisher 2007 and Publisher 2003 treat WordArt objects as graphics and do not check to see what fonts they are using.
This problem occurs even if the font is embedded in the publication. WordArt can only use a font if that font is installed on the system.
