SYMPTOMS

When typing Arabic or Hebrew text in forms within Internet Explorer; garbage characters are displayed instead of the Arabic or Hebrew text.

CAUSE

A third party application called "TopText iLookUp" is installed. This application intercepts text input into the browser window; and since it does not support Bidirectional text (Arabic, Hebrew), it causes this problem.

RESOLUTION

Uninstall the 3rd party application And contact The application vendor (www.ezula.com) to inquire about the availability of an update that addresses this issue.
