Refresh (MDAC 2.7 SP1a). You can obtain MDAC 2.7 SP1a by installing SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3a (SP3a). If you have already installed SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3), you do not have to install SP3a because these fixes are included in SP3. MDAC 2.7 SP1a is the integration of MDAC 2.7 SP1 and the Mdac_qfe.exe package that is installed with SQL Server 2000 SP3. MDAC 2.7 SP1a also includes fixes for two setup-related bugs.
