SYMPTOMSIf you view the properties of your Inbox
folder, and then click Clear Offline Items in the
Inbox Properties dialog box after you synchronize your Outlook
folders in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 and in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, the Inbox folder only has some e-mail
messages and files, and the synchronization process ends with the following
message: Additionally, if you try to synchronize your Outlook folders
again, no additional e-mail messages or files are added to your
Inbox folder. Only new e-mail messages that have arrived after
the original synchronization are downloaded. If you view your Inbox folder by using Outlook Web Services or from a different computer that views the Inbox folder contents on the Microsoft Exchange server, all your e-mail messages and files are present. CAUSEThis problem occurs if you clear the offline items before
the synchronization process has completed WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem and download all your e-mail
messages and files, follow these steps:
