OL2002: Cannot Set a Filter When You Programmatically Create a Calendar View

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Microsoft Outlook object model to programmatically create a calendar view that includes a filter, Outlook 2002 does not show the filtered calendar view when you apply the view.

CAUSE

This problem occurs after you install Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2).

Note Similar problems with other filtered views were corrected in Office XP SP-2. However, this missed case scenario was not corrected.
