Cannot locate the .NET Framework 1.1 SDK on MSDN DVD 2085 (released in April 2003)

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) DVD 2085 is the second quarter MSDN subscription release for April 2003. The .NET Framework Software Development Kit (SDK) 1.1 is specified on the label for MSDN DVD 2085. However, you cannot locate the Microsoft .NET Framework SDK 1.1 on the DVD.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because DVD 2085 is labeled incorrectly. The .NET Framework SDK 1.1 is not included with the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 release. However, the label has not been updated.

RESOLUTION

The .NET Framework SDK 1.1 is included with the June release. This release includes the following violet-colored discs:
- DVD 2214 (June 2003) for Operating Systems and Professional Subscribers
- DVD 2215 (June 2003) for Enterprise Subscribers
- DVD 2216 (June 2003) for Universal Subscribers
The .NET Framework SDK 1.1 is also included on MSDN CD 1306.4.
