Small Computer System Interface Drives Are Unexpectedly Removed

SYMPTOMS

When you disable one storage device on a small computer system interface (SCSI) disk array, you may disable other devices on the array.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you remove or disable the device that has the logical unit number (LUN) identifier "LUN0". In Windows Server 2003, the device that has the LUN identifier "LUN0" must be present to access other devices on the array.
