Outline codes that are written by the PDS show up incorrectly in Project Server 2002

SYMPTOMS

When you use either of the following methods and then try to view your changes in Project Professional 2002, changes that you make for the Enterprise Outline codes may appear incorrectly:

You try to make changes for the Enterprise Outline codes directly to the Microsoft Project Server database.
You try to make changes for the Enterprise Outline codes directly by using the Project Data Service (PDS) methods.

This problem is corrected in Project Server 2002 Service Pack 1.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem was first corrected in Project Server 2002 Service Pack 1.
