SetReceiveFolder Settings Are Ignored When Mail Delivery Is Set to PST

SYMPTOMS

When you redirect e-mail messages programmatically by using the IMsgStore::SetReceiveFolder from a Microsoft Exchange server to a specific folder in your personal folders (PST) file, the e-mail message is incorrectly delivered to the Inbox folder.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the IMsgStore::SetReceiveFolder settings are ignored when the e-mail message is delivered to a personal folders (PST) file.

RESOLUTION
