You cannot change the page color of an OneNote page in OneNote 2003

SYMPTOMS

When you make changes to the appearance of your Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 page (changes such as section color or note flags), you cannot change the color of the page.

CAUSE

OneNote 2003 does not have an option for changing the color of a OneNote 2003 page.

To change the color of a OneNote 2003 page, change the window color for your Microsoft Windows-based programs. To change the window color, follow the steps.

Note If you use this workaround, it will affect the window color in all your Windows-based programs.

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Appearance and Themes.
Click Display.
On the Appearance tab, click Advanced.
In the Advanced Appearance dialog box, click Window in the Item box, click the color that you want in the Color 1 box, and then click OK.
Click OK to close the Display Properties dialog box.
Close the Appearance and Themes dialog box.

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
