FIX: An UPDATE CUBE Statement Returns an Error When You Try to Update a Measure in a Virtual Cube

CPR - SQL 2000 - Hotfix in SP4

SYMPTOMS

If you run an UPDATE CUBE statement on a virtual cube, you receive the following error message:

Unable to open cellset
An error occured during query execution - unknown error

Note In this error message, the word "occured" is a misspelling for the word "occurred."

This problem occurs only if both of the following conditions are true:

The virtual cube contains two or more base cubes.

-and-
The measure that you are updating is not from the first base cube that was specified when the virtual cube was created.
