When you click
Find Nearby Places on the
Tools menu in Microsoft Streets and Trips or Microsoft
MapPoint, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
- You receive information that is not sufficient about
specific places.
- You receive no information about specific
places.
The information that you receive may vary depending on the
specific version of Street and Trips or MapPoint that you are
using.
This problem occurs because different vendors for the Find
Nearby Places feature were used in each version of Streets and Trips and
MapPoint. The vendor information databases for the Find Nearby Places feature
may not be complete and cannot be updated.
To work around this problem in some instances, follow these
steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Find
Nearby Places.
- On the Find Nearby Places pane, click
Show or Hide Places.
- On the Restaurants and
Places tabs, click Check All, and then click
OK.
If these steps do not correct the problem that you are
experiencing, submit information about the missing or incomplete Find Nearby
Places feature. To do this, click
Send Map Feedback on the
Tools menu and follow the instructions in the Feedback
Wizard.
