FIX: The CE Test Kit Serial Driver Test Module Is Unsuccessful On Special Purpose Ports

SYMPTOMS

The Serial Driver test module of the CE Test Kit (CETK) typically tests all logical communication (COM) ports. The test may be unsuccessful on ports that do not conform explicitly to the standard serial port behavior because they have a special purpose and behavior.

You may want to avoid testing these special ports.

MORE INFORMATION

This update adds a new feature to the SerDrvBvt test module to give the test operator a means to specify a specific port to run the test on and to skip all other ports.

For example, to test port 3 (COM3), use the following command to start the test:

tux -o -d serdrvbvt -c"3"
