You cannot open an iCalendar Format (*.ics) file in Outlook 2000

When you receive an iCalendar Format (*.ics) file in Microsoft Outlook 2000 that was created in Microsoft Outlook 2002 or later and you double-click the file to open an appointment, the appointment file may not open.

This problem may occur if the iCalendar Format (*.ics) appointment file has a reminder set in the appointment file.
