(MSDE) Service Pack 3 (SP3) or Service Pack 3a (SP3a) on a computer that does
not have an earlier version of MSDE installed, and does not have Microsoft XML
(MSXML) 2.6 installed, and you try to use an XML feature that is implemented by
MSDE, you receive the following error message: Failed to
load Msxml2.dll CAUSEThe MSDE SP3 or SP3a Setup programs do not redistribute
MSXML 2.6 (msxml2.dll). RESOLUTION A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is
only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply
it only to systems that are experiencing this specific
