You cannot connect to your MSN account in Outlook 2003

SYMPTOMS

When you try to access your MSN, the Microsoft Network, account to retrieve e-mail messages in Outlook 2003, you may receive the following error message:
Task 'MSN: Downloading folder list. ' reported error (0x800CCC32) : 'Access to the account was denied. Verify that your username and password are correct.'

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer prevent it from accepting cookies from Hotmail.com or MSN.com domains. For example, you may experience this behavior when your privacy settings are set to High in Internet Explorer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
1.Start Internet Explorer.
2.On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3.Click the Privacy tab, and then click Edit.
4.In the Address of Web site box, type hotmail.com, and then click Allow.
5.In the Address of Web site box, type msn.com, and then click Allow.
6.Click OK two times.
