Article ID: 823693 - Last Review: December 2, 2003 - Revision: 1.0 FIX: Error Pages Do Not Appear in the Correct Language After You Install Feature Pack 1SYMPTOMSWhen you use the URLScan feature of Microsoft Internet
Security and Acceleration Server 2000 (ISA Server), you may notice that the
error HTML pages that ISA Server uses to notify you of errors do not appear in
the same language as the version of ISA Server that you have
installed. This problem occurs only if all of the following are true:
CAUSEWhen you install URLScan, a new error HTML page that is
named 2r.htm is installed. The copy of the 2r.htm file that is installed when
you install the Feature Pack on the Spanish version or the French version of
ISA Server is not the correct language version of the file. URLScan uses the 2r.html error HTML page to respond with an error message. The 2r.html file is located with the other error HTML page files in the following folder: Path of the Installation Folder\Program Files\Microsoft ISA
Server\ErrorHtmls RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply the Security Rollup Fix for
ISA Server (MS03-028).

MS03-028: Flaw in ISA Server Error Pages Could Allow Cross-Site Scripting Attack
The Security Rollup Fix for ISA Server updates all
the error HTML pages including the 2r.htm page. It also replaces the 2r.htm
file that is included with the Spanish and French versions of the program with
the correct language versions of this file.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000.
MORE INFORMATIONTo
enable the URLScan Web filter, follow these steps. Note You must run the URLScan Setup file (Isafp1ur.exe) that is included with ISA Server Feature Pack 1 to install URLScan before you can enable the URLScan Web filter.
