FIX: A Cursor with a Large Object Parameter May Cause an Access Violation on CStmtCond::XretExecute

SYMPTOMS

After applying SQL Server Service Pack 3 (SP3), a cursor statement with a large object (LOB) parameter (such as a text, ntext or an image data type), may cause an Access Violation on the CStmtCond::XretExecute function.
