message that indicates that the file (or the folder that contains it) is marked as read-only. Note Word 2003 will save a Word document correctly. However, when you try to save an HTM or an RTF file in Word, you receive the error message. CAUSEThis problem may occur if the current version of
Client Services for NetWare is installed on your Windows XP-based or Windows 2000-based
computer. RESOLUTIONWindows 2000Hotfix InformationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
