On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you run an application in a multithreaded environment on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server-based computer, the computer may unexpectedly shut down or stop responding, and then you receive the following error message: STOP: 0x50 CAUSEThis problem may occur in the following scenario:
RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article.
