FIX: Incorrect Operators Are Listed for Catalog Expressions

SYMPTOMS

In Commerce Server 2002 Business Desk (BizDesk), Catalog Expressions lists operators for string types instead of for numeric types for the product Weight property.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Commerce Server 2002. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Note After you install Service Pack 2, you must manually update your BizDesk file before you start Commerce Server BizDesk. To do this, copy the QBProduct.asp file from the Program Files\Microsoft Commerce Server 2002\Sp2\Bizdesk\Marketing\Include folder to the corresponding BizDesk application folder. For more information, see the ReadMe_sp2.htm file. This file is located in the Program Files\Microsoft Commerce Server 2002\Sp2 folder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

This problem was corrected in Service Pack 2 for Commerce Server 2002.

MORE INFORMATION

The operators that are listed for product weight are for string types, such as "contains", "not-contains", and "begins with", instead of for numeric types. After you apply Commerce Server 2002 Service Pack 2, the operators that are listed are for numeric types such as "greater-than", "less-than", and "equals".
