Some Domain Controllers Cannot Replicate with Other Domain Controllers After You Install Windows 2000 Service Pack 4

SYMPTOMS

Some domain controllers may not successfully replicate with other domain controllers in your organization. When this problem occurs, you may receive event messages that are similar to one or more of the following event messages in the event log:

Description: Active Directory could not update the following object with changes received from the domain controller at the following network address because Active Directory was busy processing information.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if a child domain is not completely removed. As a result, some domain controllers in your organization may have conflicting information about the child domain.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix Information
