Wireless ZeroConfig Cannot Select a New Access Point

SYMPTOMS

Although the network indicates that a wireless connection is established, you cannot access network resources.

If multiple access points are configured with service set identifiers (SSIDs) that are similar, devices may not successfully connect to the wireless network. The ZeroConfig utility does not select a new access point if the SSID of the new access point is a subset of the SSID of the previous access point. The user interface indicates that the device is successfully associated with the new access point. However, data is not successfully transferred.
