assembly, you may not be able to run Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) events from older versions of the
instrumented assembly. When you try to run a WMI event, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message: System.Exception: This schema for this assembly has not been registered with WMI. at System.Management.Instrumentation.Instrumentation.Initialize(Assembly assembly) at System.Management.Instrumentation.Instrumentation.GetInstrumentedAssembly(Assembly assembly) at System.Management.Instrumentation.BaseEvent.Fire() RESOLUTIONHotfix InformationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
