. SUMMARYThis article describes how to embed fonts in a Microsoft
Office PowerPoint 2003 or a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 presentation. MORE INFORMATIONWhen you create a presentation in PowerPoint on a
computer that uses one set of fonts, those fonts may not look the same when you
open the same presentation on another computer that has different fonts
installed. You may be able to solve this behavior by saving (or embedding) your
fonts in the presentation. PowerPoint supports the embedding of fonts that do not have license restrictions that prevent embedding. When you open a presentation that has embedded fonts in PowerPoint on a computer that is different from the computer where the presentation was saved, the behavior of the embedded fonts depends on the embedding license level of the fonts. The following information describes the restrictions that affect the behavior of embedded fonts when a presentation is opened up in PowerPoint 2003:
How to embed TrueType fonts in a presentationTo save your presentation so that the fonts display and print correctly when you open the presentation, follow these steps.Note If you save a presentation with embedded fonts, this increases the file size of your presentation. When True Type fonts that are licensed as installable are embedded in a PowerPoint template, the template can be applied to a presentation only if the embedded True Type fonts are installed on the local computer. PowerPoint 2003 or earlier versions of PowerPoint
You can install and use the font properties shell extension to check the embedding properties of your fonts. For more information about the font properties shell extension, visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/TrueTypeProperty21.mspx
