SYMPTOMS

When a parent form that contains a ToolTip control launches a child dialog box by using the ShowDialog method, the Modal dialog box comes to the foreground. This behavior occurs when you switch away from the application, and then you switch back to the application. However, the parent form does not come to the foreground.
