Symptoms

The Routing Recipient option that is available in Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 is no longer available in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 and in later versions of PowerPoint.

Note To find the Routing Recipient option in PowerPoint 2002, click Send To on the File menu.

Workaround

To work around this behavior, use one of the following methods, as appropriate for the version of PowerPoint that you are using.

PowerPoint 2003

Method 1: Use the "Mail Recipient (for Review)" command to send the PowerPoint 2003 presentation for review

To do this, point to Send To on the File menu, and then click Mail Recipient (for Review).

Method 2: Use the "Shared Workspace" command to review the PowerPoint 2003 presentation with multiple people

To do this, click Shared Workspace on the Tools menu.

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007

Method 1: Send the PowerPoint presentation as a attachment in an e-mail message to reviewers

To do this, click the Microsoft Office Button, point to Send, and then click E-mail.

Method 2: Create a shared workspace in which to review the PowerPoint presentation with multiple people

To do this, click the Microsoft Office Button, point to Publish, and then click Create Document Workspace.

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010

Method 1: Send the PowerPoint presentation as an attachment in an e-mail message to reviewers

To do this, click the File tab, click Save & Send, click Send Using E-mail, then select the option that corresponds to the format in which you would like to send your presention (for example: Send as Attachment, or Send as PDF)

Method 2: Save the presentation to the Web or to SharePoint to share it with multiple people

To do this, click the File tab, click Save & Send, then click either Save to Web to save it to OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive), or click Save to SharePoint to save it to a location on a Microsoft SharePoint site.
