Windows Installer starts when you start an Office 2003 program for the first time after you install Project 2002

SYMPTOMS

After you install Project 2002 on a computer that Office 2003 is already installed on, Windows Installer unexpectedly starts when you start an Office 2003 program for the first time.

Note After Windows Installer has completed updating the installation, this issue no longer occurs.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because a
Typlib
registry setting is overwritten during the installation of Project 2002. Windows Installer starts so that it can repair this file.
