This article discusses how to promote a Note Flag to a
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Task.
You can promote any Note Flags or text in a Microsoft Office
OneNote 2003 page to one or more Outlook 2003 Tasks. To do this, use one of the
following methods.
Use the Note Flag Toolbar Option
- Click the Note Flag or click the text that
you want to promote to an Outlook Task.
- On the Note Flag (To Do) menu, click
Create Outlook Task on the drop-down menu.
- Fill out the Task form as required, and then click
Save and Close.
Use the Format Menu
- Click the Note Flag or click the text that
you want to promote to an Outlook Task.
- On the Format menu, point to Note
Flags, and then click Create Outlook Task.
- Fill out the Task form as required, and then click
Save and Close.
Use the Selection Handle Option
- Click the Note Flag or click the text that
you want to promote to an Outlook Task.
- Right-click the selection handle (four headed arrow) to the
left of the selected Note Flag, and then click Create
Outlook Task.
- Fill out the Task form as required, and then click
Save and Close.
Note You can select multiple Note Flags or lines of text and turn them
into a single Outlook Task.
