Web links to drawing pages do not work when the drawing is saved as a Web page in Visio 2003

When you save a Microsoft Office Visio 2003 drawing as a Web page, hyperlinks from one page of the drawing to another page may not work.

This problem may occur if you rename the destination page and then update the hyperlink programmatically instead of using the user interface. In this case, the Name property and the NameU property of the page are no longer the same. This problem may occur more frequently on non-English systems where these properties are always different.

To work around this problem, update the hyperlink directly so that it points to the correct page. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Select the shape.
2. On the Insert menu, click Hyperlinks.
3. To the right of the Sub-address box, click Browse.
4. In the Hyperlink dialog box, select the page that you want in the Page list box, and then click OK two times.

This problem is corrected in Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
