SUMMARY

Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003, Standard Edition does not support dial-on-demand Internet connections that use a Universal Serial Bus (USB) networking device, such as a USB modem or a USB Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) adapter.

If you have an Internet connection that must be dialed, and you use the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard in Small Business Server 2003, Standard Edition to configure your Internet connection, you must use a non-USB networking device.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to Small Business Server 2003, Premium Edition, and use the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard to configure Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 to dial the connection for you.
