site. CAUSEWhen you use the Express Setup option to install a Systems
Management Server 2003 Site Server, Setup automatically configures the site
server as a management point, but not as the default Management Point for the
site. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, you can manually configure the
site server as the default Management Point for the site. To do so, follow
these steps. Note You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure and the site server must be configured as a management point.

has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
in the "Applies to" section of this article.
