CAUSEWindows Media Player 9 automatically installs the Roxio CD burning plug-in on your computer. If you already have third-party CD burning software installed, the third party CD burning components may conflict with the Roxio CD burning plug-in. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, try one of the following methods:
Block the Installation of the Roxio CD Burning Plug-InWhen you install new Windows Media Player 9 on a Windows 2000-based computer, you have the option not to install the Roxio CD burning plug-in in Windows Media Player 9 by setting a Windows Registry key to block the installation of the plug-in. Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Follow these steps, and then quit Registry Editor:
