Text may be missing when you print to an Adobe PDF file in Visio 2002

When you print a Microsoft Word 2002 document or you print a Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 presentation to an Adobe Acrobat PDF file, some text may be missing in the PDF file.

This problem may occur if you paste a Microsoft Visio 2002 object (drawing) into a Word 2002 document or a PowerPoint 2002 presentation and then print to an Adobe Distiller printer.

To work around this problem, follow these steps:

1. In Visio 2002, copy the shapes and the text that you want.
2. Open either your Word 2002 document or open your PowerPoint 2002 presentation.
3. On the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
4. In the Paste Special dialog box, click Picture, and then click OK.
   
   Note Do not click Picture (Enhanced Metafile).
5. On the File menu, click Print.
6. In the Print dialog box, change the printer Name box to Acrobat Distiller, and then click OK.
